The family company Fautor was founded at the end of the 20th century.
The path traveled from the beginning to the present day has been marked by achievements and distinctions, and success was based on the experience and enthusiasm of family members, as well as the talent of the winemaker. In 2003-2006, advanced technologies were introduced and vines were planted, so that today the vineyards of the winery extend over an area of approx. 350 hectares. Both the winery and the plantations are located in the Tigechi microzone, which is part of the Valul lui Traian wine region in the south of Moldova. The Tigechi microzone is absolutely unique, it is very successful for the production of quality white and red wines. The name "Fautor" comes from the Latin language and means "creator, author", which means maximum responsibility for the quality and individual approach of the winemaker.
